CATS celebrates 5 years!

Children’s Assistive Technology Service celebrated its 5th birthday yesterday evening at the home of founder and CEO Cathie Cummins and her husband Randy. In attendance were members of the Smith Mountain Lake community (Lions Club, Antique Boat Club, Civitans, neighbors, and friends) who have provided financial baking along with volunteers who repair, promote, transport, and deliver equipment to children across Virginia.

This happy team of volunteers braved the chilly weather and imminent snow storm to move the Richmond inventory from storage units to our new “place.” Yes, folks, a real place.
