Roanoke Valley Gives Day a Success!

Thank You to everyone who supported Children’s Assistive Technology Service during the on-line Roanoke Valley Gives Day Fundraiser on March 18th. We ranked #10 out of 142 nonprofits, and second place on the Small Nonprofit Leaderboard, raising $21,235.00 in total, including $3500 in prize money and an additional $2500 from Modern Woodmen Financial.

CATS celebrates 5 years!

Children’s Assistive Technology Service celebrated its 5th birthday yesterday evening at the home of founder and CEO Cathie Cummins and her husband Randy. In attendance were members of the Smith Mountain Lake community (Lions Club, Antique Boat Club, Civitans, neighbors, and friends) who have provided financial baking along with volunteers who repair, promote, transport, and deliver equipment to children across Virginia.
