Centra will support the “Opportunities for All Abilities” Project that will help provide families raising children with disabilities gently-used pediatric adaptive and mobility equipment in the Greater Lynchburg area.
The Earl D. and Carrie Leigh Doran Fund of the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia has awarded CATS $6000 as part of CATS’ Never Too Young program to be used to improve the CATS website. The updated website will provide ease of use with enhanced equipment search options, revamped look, and improved data collection features to help CATS focus on needs in the community and expand funding possibilities. The Earl D.and Carrie Leigh Doran Fund was set up to help individuals and families who are confronting catastrophic, life-altering circumstances and also supports organizations that provide shelter, care, and assistance to battered women.
We thank these foundations for supporting C.A.T.S. and our mission of providing much needed adaptive equipment and assistive technology to children with disabilities across Virginia at no cost.
